Website privacy notice
This notice covers the TrustLynce website: what it collects when you browse it or fill in a form, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What this notice covers
This notice describes how the TrustLynce marketing website handles personal data. It does not describe how the TrustLynce platform processes data on behalf of customers; that is set out in each customer agreement.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us in a form, plus the technical data any website receives.
- Demo requests: your first and last name, work email, company, company size, and the topics you are interested in.
- Contact messages: your name, email, optionally your company, the topic, and your message.
- Newsletter and download requests: your email address.
- Technical data: your IP address, which is used briefly to limit abusive form submissions and is not stored by the site.
- Analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, we record which pages are viewed and which forms are completed. Names, email addresses and message contents are removed before any analytics event is sent.
What we do not collect
Our forms do not ask for a phone number. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Why we use it
- To reply to your message or arrange the demo you asked for. Where you are in the EU or UK, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or steps you asked us to take before entering a contract.
- To send the newsletter or resource you requested, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To understand how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies, on the basis of that consent.
- To keep the site secure and limit abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting it.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up on your request, and delete it after that. Ask us if you would like it deleted sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA, you may have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent you have given.
- Receive it in a portable format.
- Complain to your data protection authority.
